National Nurse Practitioner (NP) Day is a celebration of the vital contributions that nurse practitioners make to healthcare. We want to thank our NP's here at Scheurer that place patient care first and work hard every day to better the lives of the community.

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude to all veterans for their service, bravery and sacrifice this Veterans Day. Today, we also extend a special thanks to the veterans within our organization. We are honored to work alongside you and recognize the exceptional commitment you have shown both in service to our country and in your work here. Thank you for all that you do.

October 09 is recognized as National Physician Assistant Day! Normally we don't get into the business of "national ____" days because they're so hard to keep up with, but these four individuals are an essential piece to our Primary Care team.

This past weekend, we hosted our third 5K of the year—the Elkton Suicide Prevention 5K. The event was a success, with all proceeds benefiting the Huron County Suicide Prevention Coalition.

The 33rd Annual Scheurer Auxiliary Golf Outing was an outstanding success! With 34 teams hitting the course on a perfect day of sunny skies and 75-degree weather, the energy was high and spirits were even higher.

Since students went back to in-person learning in the fall of 2020, Scheurer Health has been part of the school day for Bad Axe Public Schools. Beginning this fall, Scheurer's commitment is even stronger, now expanding its services thanks in part to a grant from the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS).

We want to thank everyone who came out to our Health Expo and Kids Day at the Caseville Fire Hall. Both events were very successful and we can't wait to see you all again next year!

This year, the Cheeseburger Fun Run 5K was an incredible event, drawing a record-breaking 541 runners and walkers. The enthusiasm was contagious as participants hit the course, many dressed in creative cheeseburger-inspired outfits.
