Elkton Suicide Prevention 5k
This past weekend, we hosted our third 5K of the year—the Elkton Suicide Prevention 5K. The event was a success, with all proceeds benefiting the Huron County Suicide Prevention Coalition. This incredible organization is dedicated to spreading awareness about suicide prevention, helping people recognize warning signs, providing resources and offering support to survivors and families impacted by suicide. Thanks to this amazing event, we were able to donate $1,660 to the Huron County Suicide Coalition.
The turnout was fantastic, with a wonderful mix of walkers and runners who came together for a common cause—raising awareness and supporting those affected by suicide in our community. Each step taken was a step toward breaking the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide. We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who participated, volunteered and supported this event.
Let's continue to walk, run and stand together in the fight against suicide.
