Get ready to run because the 2024 5K race season at Scheurer Health is here! Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned runner, everyone is welcome to join in on the fun. Lace up your shoes and get ready for an amazing season of running!

Julia Harbuck-Valley and Alicia Truemner from Scheurer Health came to County Bay Village to educate our seniors on fall risks and to educate them on steps they can take to keep their home safe. They also demonstrated exercises they can do to help build back strength to promote safer movement and increased mobility.

The staff at Scheurer Wound Care are hosting a free foot screening for the public this Friday, April 05. The event will take place at Country Bay Village from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM. Patients with diabetes, pre-diabetes or who are experiencing numbness or tingling in their feet are encouraged to attend.

On this National Doctors Day, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to the exceptional physicians at Scheurer Health. Thank you for your exceptional service, dedication and compassionate care. The Scheurer Health Foundation hosted its annual flower sale fundraiser and spread love throughout the hospital and to the surrounding communities. Love was also in the air at Country Bay Village where they partook in a Valentine's Day party complete with their own kissing booth.

Hospitals can be intimidating places for anyone, especially for little ones. To help foster a positive connection with healthcare, Scheurer Health has brought back pediatric tours after a three-plus-year hiatus, inviting students from kindergarten and first grade to explore departments across the organization. These tours are all about making the hospital a less scary place and learning the importance of a hospital.

We are so thankful for our community for once again voting us the #1 Hospital for the Readers' Choice Awards along with the many other awards we won and were finalists in. Our team is always striving to provide the best care possible to our patients and we want to say thank you for all the votes.

Starting on Thursday, January 11, Wound Care services will be available through Scheurer Podiatry. Wound Care through Scheurer Podiatry provides care to those suffering from any non-healing wounds below the knee.

Take a trip back in 2023 as we look into our Top 10 Moments! From pies being thrown in leaders' faces to finally being able to take those masks off, 2023 was one of our most memorable years yet.
