The Laboratory located inside the hospital in Pigeon is accredited by The Joint Commission and accepts test requisitions from all physicians and mid-level providers.
Outpatients may take their test requisition or lab slip to patient registration prior to presenting to the laboratory. The lab staff performs lab draws on patients of all ages. Some tests require fasting, so please follow your doctor's instructions. If your insurance requires the sample to be sent to a JVHL reference lab (e.g., Covenant), please let the phlebotomist know before the blood is drawn.
