“I’m five foot, eighteen inches tall.” That may be the best way to describe the head-above-the-rest enthusiasm of Joe Burzynski. With the charisma and energy of someone born decades later, Joe makes living at 91-years-old look easy. Retiring after 37 years in the telephone business, Joe and his wife, Eleanor moved to Caseville full-time to enjoy the natural beauty of the Thumb. Joe grew up on east side of Detroit but always remembered the landscape while camping at Sleeper and Port Crescent State Parks, which drew him back to the area after retirement.

The 2nd annual campaign for Lights of Love is now underway. We have added even more lights this year! Check out all the details for yourself!

Now with all three of the hottest brands in the business, customers can now shop for their preferred Oakley, Ray-Ban and Maui Jim products all in the same place. The goal of Matthew Meissner, O.D. has been to keep Scheurer Family Vision an asset for their customers and the communities it serves. "Oakley has been a highly-requested line for us to carry; we are glad we were able to listen and make positive change for our customers," added Meissner.

With one last big weekend left on the summer schedule, Labor Day can be hectic to fit in all of our planned activities. That is why we have extended our Redi-Care Clinic and Pharmacy (Pigeon location) hours.

Kickstart your summer with a fun and free afternoon from your friends at Scheurer! Back for a second year, we are hosting Spark in the Park for everyone from one-month-old to 100. It takes place Friday, June 8, 2018 from 3-7pm at the Pigeon Recreation Park and we will be offering free massages, blood pressure screenings, fitness activities paraffin wax hand dips, first aid kits, healthy snacks, a light dinner and a huge grand prize drawing at the very end. The best part is that the entire event is free and all are welcome!

The Are You Scheurer Photo Contest ran from Labor Day weekend to October 16, 2017. The photos altogether were viewed over 450,000 times! We had entries submitted from three different continents and five countries, including every corner of Michigan.
