Foundation Golf Classic a 'Hole in One'
Nearly $50,000 Raised in the 2025 Foundation Golf Classic
The Scheurer Health Foundation Golf Classic is being called a smashing success after 36 teams packed Verona Hills Golf Club and raised nearly $50,000 on Wednesday, August 27, 2025.
After a successful run of 33 golf outings hosted by our Scheurer Auxiliary at Scenic Golf & Country Club, we made the move to Verona Hills to accommodate more golfers. The Foundation Golf Classic was able to raise over $47,000 thanks to corporate sponsorships, golf registrations, raffles, giveaways and donations.
In the early hours of Wednesday, August 27, as the Verona Hills team was preparing the course, a flurry of Scheurer volunteers made sure every detail was taken care of to host the successful event. A sold-out crowd of 144 golfers on 36 teams teed off at 9:00am with sunny skies and although slightly seasonably cooler weather, it was a beautiful day on the golf course.
