Scheurer Health is proud to introduce four new providers to our community: David Hobbs, MD, Mina Salib, Veronika Kinaschuk, MD and Paul Ariagno, MD.

On Thursday, November 16th, we celebrated the official opening and moving of Thumb MRI with a ribbon-cutting ceremony at Hills & Dales Healthcare in Cass City.

Celebrating our Employee Service Awards is a special way of saying a big "thank you" to our dedicated team at Scheurer Health. Recognizing milestones in 5-year increments, this year's ceremony extended to an impressive 45 years, a testament to the commitment of one remarkable individual. This year, we were able to applaud 62 individuals for their service!

Great news! The bridge construction just north of our main campus in Pigeon, MI is nearing completion! The bridge project began this spring, closing a major thoroughfare in the area and crews have pushed through all of the rain and weather that 2023 has thrown at them.

October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month and here at Scheurer, we wear pink to remember, support and celebrate the survivors and fighters.

Erika Faber, FNP-BC's journey in healthcare has made a stop at nearly every rung of the ladder, starting as a nursing assistant to now a certified family nurse practitioner. She is excited to join Scheurer Primary Care - Bad Axe so that Scheurer's second-to-none quality-of-care can continue its upward trajectory.

Fall is finally here! We had the pleasure of hosting a 5k walk/run for the Bad Axe Chamber of Commerce during their Fall Frenzy event. We had a great turnout and want to thank everyone who showed up to participate in our first-ever race in Bad Axe.

For this year's Assisted Living Week, Country Gardens residents dressed up for a different era three days out of the week. During those days, residents were able to reminisce on those eras with trivia, different slang and even a show and tell.

Carolyn Morrison’s life has come full circle. Once the manager of Acute Care at Scheurer Health, Carolyn now enjoys her retirement at the same place that she worked…right here at Scheurer.
