Elkton Suicide Prevention 5k Breaks 100!

Over $2500 Raised for Suicide Prevention

Despite the sudden fall weather, over 100 people came out to support the Huron County Suicide Coalition for our third and final 5k race of the year in Elkton, Michigan. A total of $2,619.60 was raised for the cause and smiles abounded throughout the five-kilometer route in Elkton.

The evening began with the Kiddie Cruise, free for all children five to 12-years-old before the 5k run/walk at 7:00pm. The century mark of participants marks a growth of nearly double than of the year prior. Thank you to all of our staff and volunteers who made the event a success!
