LOVE WAS ALL AROUND FOR VALENTINE'S DAY❤️
Our Scheurer Health Foundation hosted its fourth annual flower day fundraiser where schools, businesses and surrounding communities can purchase flowers and have the foundation deliver them to their loved ones! This year, we were able to deliver a total of 1,345 flowers, a record-breaking amount! When this fundraiser first began in 2020, there were only 361 flowers sold. Community Wellness Manager and lead on this fundraiser, Jaylee Chandonnet, commented on this record-breaking year.
"I look forward to this fundraiser every year as it brings so much joy to those sending and receiving a flower. This day offers so much laughter, friendship, and love. I'm so happy to see how well this fundraiser has done year after year. This day could not have been successful if it wasn’t for all the volunteers helping put together the orders and delivering the flowers. Thank you all for another successful year."
For our Country Bay Village residents, they had a Valentine's Day party complete with delicious treats and a kissing booth for only 5 cents for smooch, what a deal!
