Celebrating Assisted Living Week in Style
For this year's Assisted Living Week, Country Gardens residents dressed up for a different era three days out of the week. Starting out strong by celebrating the 1920s, their costumes were the bee's knees and the cat's pajamas. Next, residents dressed as if they were in the 1950s and the boys transformed into greasers and the girls getting to rock their poodle skirts. On the last day they dressed up, they embodied the rockin' 1980s with mixtapes, boomboxes, sideways hats and crazy hairstyles. During those days, residents were able to reminisce on those eras with trivia, different slang and even a show and tell. There was plenty of lots and laughter shared amongst the group as they celebrated Assisted Living Week.
