Since Dr. Clare A. Scheurer first opened the doors to Scheurer Hospital in 1945, we have had the pleasure of some outstanding leadership within our organization. From Art Woelke to Dwight Gascho and Terry Lerash, we now introduce our next President & CEO of Scheurer Health, Dr. Ross Ramsey.

It has been five years since we debuted the Are You Scheurer Photo Contest. Now, back by popular demand, the Are You Scheurer Photo Contest is back and bigger than ever. As of this morning, 2,000 ‘Are You Scheurer’ cards have been distributed to every Scheurer location. The contest runs from today, June 17 through Labor Day (September 05) and is open to anyone and everyone. The winner will receive a Scheurer prize pack valued at over $200!

Carissa Hayes, Manager of Country Gardens Assisted Living, has a long connection to the Scheurer organization. As a third-generation employee, Carissa always knew where she wanted her career to continue. With her, she brings a wealth of understanding around Senior Living communities and how to create the best living environment for our families.

As part of the Huron County Community Foundation, the Dwight Gascho Leadership Fund was established to support further education, leadership development and also to recognize Scheurer employees who have gone above and beyond their official duties.
