A Fun-Filled Day Celebrating Community at the Fair
Scheurer Health Celebrates a Fun-Filled Sponsor Day at the Huron Community Fair
Scheurer Health was proud to sponsor a day at the Huron Community Fair, bringing free food, family activities and health education to fairgoers throughout the day.
The morning kicked off with a complimentary breakfast featuring yogurt parfaits, fresh apples and water. Fair patrons enjoyed a refreshing start to their day before heading out to explore everything the fair had to offer. Fresh popped popcorn was a hit with fairgoers, providing the perfect mid-morning snack.
Hundreds of children and families stopped by the Scheurer Health sponsor pavilion for carnival-style games, face painting and balloon animals. Kids had plenty of opportunities to play and take home prizes, making it a memorable day for families.
Scheurer Health’s expert team also spent the day connecting with community members and sharing important health information. Free blood pressure checks were available, along with education focused on stroke and injury prevention. The team also demonstrated how quickly a vehicle can heat up during the summer, helping raise awareness about the dangers of leaving children in hot cars and the importance of never leaving a child unattended in a vehicle.
The day wrapped up with a special meal for the community’s seniors. We were proud to offer hundreds of seniors a home-cooked chicken dinner with all the fixings, catered onsite at the fairgrounds by Patty’s Kitchen.
From breakfast and popcorn to games, health education and dinner, Scheurer Health’s sponsor day was filled with opportunities to connect with the community, promote health and enjoy a little summer fun.
