Temporary Access Update - Acute Care
At Scheurer Health, we are making improvements within our facility. As part of this work, there will be a temporary change to how visitors access the Acute Care unit.
Beginning Wednesday, April 22, 2026, the main hallway entrance to Acute Care will be temporarily closed due to construction.
During this time, visitors should use the Service Hallway Acute Care entrance.
Directions from Main Hospital Entrance
- Enter through the Main Entrance & Emergency doors
- Walk straight down the main hallway past Registration and Central Scheduling
- Continue forward toward the Dining Room
- At the hallway near the dining room, turn left
- Proceed down the hallway, then turn right at the next main corridor
- Continue straight until you reach the Temporary Acute Care Entrance (marked on the map)
Directions from Barth Medical Arts Entrance
- Enter through the Barth Medical Arts Entrance
- Walk straight past Reception
- Turn left into the main hospital corridor
- Continue straight past the Dining Room
- Follow the hallway forward
- Turn right down the Service Hallway
- Turn right again at the next hallway
- Continue straight to the Temporary Acute Care Entrance (marked on the map)

This is a temporary change, and additional updates will be shared as they become available. Once construction is complete, a new and improved entrance route will be introduced.
