Harbor Drug Becomes Scheurer Family Pharmacy
Patients in Harbor Beach and Ubly will continue to receive the same trusted pharmacy care they have relied on for years, now under a new name. Harbor Drug is now Scheurer Family Pharmacy, continuing the same local pharmacy service with familiar staff, trusted care and strong community relationships.
Same Team, Same Care
For decades, Harbor Drug has been a cornerstone of pharmacy care in Harbor Beach and Ubly, serving generations of families with personalized service and local trust.
Mike DelPiere, Pharmacist and prior owner, emphasized the importance of familiarity for patients, noting that long-standing relationships and consistent care remain central to the pharmacy experience. Janeane Wilson, Pharmacy Manager, shared that for many families, the pharmacy is part of their routine and story, and patients will continue to be cared for by the same team they know.
While signage is changing, the experience inside the pharmacy remains consistent. Scott Rayl, former owner and current Scheurer Health Board of Trustees member, reflected that the team, the faces and the care remain unchanged even as the name transitions.
The move to Scheurer Family Pharmacy allows the locations to continue serving patients while becoming part of Scheurer Health’s growing pharmacy network across the Thumb. Dr. Ross Ramsey, President and CEO of Scheurer Health, shared that the transition reflects Scheurer Health’s continued commitment to supporting local communities and keeping care close to home.
Patients can expect the same friendly service, same trusted pharmacists and the same commitment to community care, now as Scheurer Family Pharmacy. Harbor Drug may have a new name, but for patients in Harbor Beach and Ubly, it remains the same pharmacy they have always known.
