Community members gathered at Verona Hills Golf Club on Wednesday, June 03, for the annual Jean Ferriby Memorial Golf Outing, raising support for healthcare services through the Harbor Beach Hospital Foundation.
Event Overview
The event welcomed 23 teams and 92 golfers from across the Thumb and beyond, all coming together for a day of friendly competition, camaraderie and philanthropy. Participants enjoyed 18 holes of golf, contests throughout the course, a continental breakfast and lunch, an awards dinner and opportunities to support local healthcare through raffles and fundraising activities.
Throughout the day, golfers competed for team awards and participated in special contests, including closest to the pin, longest drive and dollars for distance. While competition added excitement to the outing, the true impact of the day was the collective support raised for local healthcare.
Impact & Funds Raised
Thanks to the generosity of golfers, sponsors and supporters, the outing raised $14,000 to benefit the Harbor Beach Hospital Foundation. Funds raised through the event help strengthen healthcare services, programs and resources that directly impact patients and families throughout the region.
