Spreading Scheurer Christmas Cheer
As Buddy the Elf once said, “The best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud for all to hear” and the working elves at Scheurer did just that.
Donned in green Scheurer Santa hats and light-up necklaces, employees visited Country Bay Village, Country Gardens and Long Term Care and sang along with residents with merry smiles and joy.
Joining the employees were special guests, Gerald Prill and Benny Prill, who brought with them accordions to add to the entertainment of caroling. Our Talent Acquisition Specialist, Yvonne Prill, asked for them to join in the caroling as Gerald is her husband and Benny is her father-in-law.
When asked how caroling went Yvonne Prill stated, "Caroling was such an emotional, touching experience. It was awesome to see the residents so happy and to have them clap along and sing and smile warmed all of our hearts. Having my husband and father-in-law provide the music was icing on the cake".
