Scheurer Hospital opened its doors on April 21, 1945 and just three days later, our first baby was born. Fast forward 80 years and Dr. Scheurer's legacy spans in every which way and direction, with constant growth ever since with Scheurer Health locations in Pigeon, Caseville, Sebewaing, Elkton, Bad Axe and now joining forces with Harbor Beach Community Hospital, as well as Port Hope.

To celebrate 80 years of Better Health and Better Life, we are asking you for your stories of how Scheurer has impacted your life.
Perhaps you were born at Scheurer Hospital, Dr. Scheurer was your provider, you or a family member has lived in one of our Senior Living communities, maybe you had a life-changing moment at Scheurer or you just enjoy a free pop or coffee when in the area. Regardless, we want to hear your stories of how Scheurer has impacted your life...and hopefully for the better!
We are currently working on the next edition of Scheurer Magazine, scheduled to hit newsstands in early July, and we will be featuring your stories in one of our articles, as well as online at scheurer.org.
