A Fresh Space for Connection // Country Gardens
Country Gardens Assisted Living has unveiled a newly remodeled activity room, designed to bring comfort, connection and meaningful engagement to residents.
The refreshed space combines updated paint and wall décor with comfortable, functional furniture to create a warm, inviting atmosphere. A variety of games encourages social interaction and cognitive stimulation, while a popcorn machine and record player add a nostalgic touch that brings joy to group activities and gatherings.
This transformation goes beyond aesthetics. The updated space was thoughtfully enhanced to better support residents, by providing a calming and engaging environment tailored to their needs.
This project was made possible through a generous $35,000 grant designated toward the development of a sensory-focused space for dementia care residents. We gratefully acknowledge the Citizen HKS Fund at The Dallas Foundation for making this important investment in resident care and quality of life.
The newly renovated activity room reflects an ongoing commitment to creating spaces where residents feel comfortable, supported and connected every day.
