What is the Scheurer Health Foundation?
The Scheurer Health Foundation, founded in 1987, was created to provide fundraising for new equipment at Scheurer Health. The Scheurer Health Foundation supports Scheurer Health by purchasing equipment, funding construction and renovation projects, supporting special initiatives, and much more. Your generous support will allow Scheurer Health to provide quality care close to home for generations to come.
Types of Gifts
- Donations are gifts or pledges of cash, insurance policies, real estate, stocks, bonds or other property. These may be given at any time throughout the year. The Foundation also facilitates two donation requests annually: the Corporate Partnership program and Annual Giving campaign.
- Memorials allow donors to remember or honor a loved one who has passed away.
- Honor Gifts allow donors to honor a living person or group.

Annual Giving
Our Annual Giving Campaign is the largest of our fundraising efforts and a key piece to our Foundation's success. Auxiliary
Scheurer Hospital was founded in 1945 and so was our mighty army now known as the Scheurer Health Auxiliary. Over the years, our Auxiliary members have hosted a wide variety of fundraisers, including Lights of Love, Holiday Cheese Spreads, Spring & Fall Style Shows and many more. Collectively, the Auxiliary has raised and donated money for hospital projects well into the six-figure range -- and fast approaching seven figures. Find out about our Auxiliary by clicking here.
