Scheurer Shape-Up is back!

Register now for our 2022 Scheurer Shape-Up series!

Scheurer Shape-Up is an 8-week fitness challenge that helps to build strength and tone your body. This challenge starts Tuesday, September 6th and ends Thursday, October 27th. Pre-assessments will begin on August 22 through September 1 and Post-assessments will take place October 31-November 3.

This fitness challenge is broken up into 3 tiers: bronze, silver, and gold.

With the Bronze level ($100) you will get:

  • 3 fitness classes each week
  • 30-minute fitness assessment
  • Sign-up gift
  • Education materials
  • Prizes for winning challenges

With the Silver level ($125) you will get:

  • 3 fitness classes each week
  • 30-minute fitness assessment
  • Sign-up gift
  • Educational materials
  • Prizes for winning challenges
  • Presentation with a Registered Dietician
  • Fitness presentation with Exercise Physiologist

With the Gold level ($150) you will get:

  • Unlimited fitness classes each week
  • 30-minute fitness assessment
  • Sign-up gift
  • Educational materials
  • Prizes for winning challenges
  • Presentation with a registered dietitian
  • Fitness presentation with an exercise physiologist
  • Cooking class
  • Free membership to Sandy Shores

Class Descriptions:

Butt & Gut // Strength training class to build your booty and tone your core (Camille)

Cardio Craze // Mixed cardio class that is different every time you step in the door (Alex)

Cardio/Strength // A mix of modalities to work your cardiovascular system and build strength (Alex)

Family Fitness // An all age inclusive class that features gym class favorites and kids games to make fitness fun for the family (and for the young at heart!) (Camille)

Gentle Yoga // A gentle flow that focuses on improving balance, flexibility, and range of motion (Camille)

Jump & Pump // A mini trampoline cardio class mixed with different modalities of strength training and toning (Alex)

Kickboxing Fusion // Exercise in the form of boxing based on kicking and punching, mixed with strength and toning exercises (Alex)

Light & Lovely // A senior toning class that uses light dumbbells and bands along with stick stretching (Alex)

Pound N' Pump // A full body cardio session inspired by the energizing fun of playing the drums mixed with strength training (Alex)

Power Yoga // A fast-paced style of yoga that focuses on building strength and endurance (Jana)

Senior Stretch // Ease stiff joints and improve flexibility with senior stretch class (Alex)

Senior Zumba // Mixing low and high-intensity moves that have been modified for seniors for a calorie-burning dance party (Camille)

Step N' Strength // A cardio class that involves stepping on and off a platform mixed with strength and toning exercises (Alex)

Strength // A circuit style class that utilizes free weights, bars, and a variety of other fitness equipment to increase total body strength (Camille)

Stretch and Sculpt // A variety of free weight, resistance band, and body weight sculpting methods combined with muscle-specific stretching (Camille)

Totally Tubular // This class only uses resistance tubes and bands for a full body strength workout (Alex)

Zumba // Mixing low and high-intensity moves for a calorie-burning dance party (Alex)
