UTILIZATION REVIEW/DISCHARGE PLANNER RN
Full Time Day Shift Position
80 hours per bi-weekly pay period

Scheurer Hospital, a critical access rural hospital, is seeking a Full Time RN to perform Utilization Review/Discharge Planner responsibilities. This includes being a liaison between patients, physicians, and patient’s families to determine qualifying level of required care in conjunction with health insurance criteria; facilitates discharge planning services through assessment of needs and coordination with community resources. This individual will act as a resource to physicians for discharge planning options.

Educational and Experience requirements include candidate will be a graduate from an accredited school of nursing and possess a current license in good standing as a Registered Nurse from the State of Michigan with three years of experience in a Medical/Surgical inpatient setting. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
