FAQ: Redi-Care Clinic (inside the Barth Medical Center)


Scheurer Family Medical Center – Rural Health Clinic has expanded its services!

What are the Redi-Care Clinic hours?
The summer hours will be:

Monday through Thursday: 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Friday: 1:00 pm to 8:00 pm
Saturday and Sunday: 9:00 am to 3:00 pm.

Who will utilize the Redi-Care Clinic?
The typical patient seen in the Redi-Care Clinic may require a clinic visit in the late afternoon/evening/weekend, or is unable to schedule a same day appointment with their family physician or may not have a family physician, and would exhibit signs/symptoms such as:

• Abrasions
• Cough (without history of high fever)
• Dental pain/infection
• Diarrhea
• Headaches (history of Migraines)
• Minor burns
• Suture Removal
• Sprains (within 24 hours)
• Rashes
• Joint pain
• Vomiting (less than 24 hours in duration)
• Urinary Tract Infections
• Ear pain
• Eye pain
• Throat Pain
• Pregnancy tests
• Tetanus/Diphtheria immunization
• Child temps less than 104° F

Not to be confused with our Emergency Department, the Redi-Care Clinic meets the needs of individuals requiring same day appointments for non-emergent care. For emergencies, continue to use the Scheurer Hospital Emergency Department open 24/7.
